FintechVendors.com is FREE - no user subscription or vendor listing fees. We are funded through attractively priced vendor Upgraded Listings and advertising, encouraging providers to invest in the FVC Community. We are not a lead generation site, so all users can feel comfortable searching for and saving Favorites without undesired sales solicitation. Yay!

The blue navigation bar at the top of every page is the primary tool for your searches. The navigation bar contains popular general topics along with trending subtopics. From here, you can also click on Browse and scroll through all categories or review a list of all vendors in alphabetical order. 

On the Vendor Search Results page, you can Sort results and apply Filters. You can Filter vendors by location of their headquarters by using the Region Filter and further refine your results by selecting more than one Category - a powerful capability. For example, if you are searching for a core banking vendor that also offers a digital banking solution and debit/credit card processing, you would select each of these Categories at the same time to see vendors providing all three solutions. The more categories/filters you select, the more precise the results.

Simply click the Favorites heart at any point in your search to turn it green; you can then view and manage your favorites by clicking on Favorites at the top of any screen. If you save Favorites without establishing an Account, they will be stored in your browser’s cache for temporary data. To save your Favorites on FintechVendors.com, set up an Account so you can access the list at any time from any of your devices. As a reminder, FVC does NOT sell or share your information with any third-parties or vendors unless you request an introduction through our Strategic Partners Program.

Simply click the green Favorites heart to deselect it and it will be removed from your Favorites list.

FVC is not a social media ratings site. As we all know, there are plenty of those on the internet. Instead, we focus on value propositions and honest customer testimonials provided by vendors that take advantage of an Upgraded Listing. We are a safe space for everyone!

Silver Community Members help sponsor the Community by sharing insightful information on their Upgraded Listing Page about their solutions and client perspectives and by contributing relevant advertisements. Advertisers can also further commit and secure a leadership role in the Community by obtaining Gold status. Gold Community Members provide Featured Content through their Upgraded Listing Page that includes thought leadership and insight on technological advancements and trends related to financial services.

FVC carefully reviewed each vendor’s online presence to assign categories and will review any substantiated requests for changes. Keep in mind, categories are assigned based on a product’s functionality and features, not on its use cases. Reach out to us via the Contact Us form to start the conversation. As per the Advertising Terms & Conditions, ad content and payment is due by the 15th of the month prior to the approved Start Date. Website ads start on or before the first of the subsequent month (at FVCs discretion). All Start Dates are estimates based upon ad demand and time to fulfill orders. You can review the status of your listings and ads by logging in to your Account at the top of any page.

With the launch of FVC, the Basic Listing company description was originally populated with LinkedIn About information (if not available, information was taken from the company's website). Vendors can request changes by reaching out to us via the Contact Us form.

No. To encourage regular usage by all types of users and the saving of favorites for convenience, we do not sell our website data or contact information to any third party. 

You can purchase an Upgraded Listing and include your artifacts as content. FVC also randomly posts articles from Upgraded Listings (at our discretion) on our home page as Featured Content. We also post select Silver and Gold Members’ articles from their Upgraded Listings on LinkedIn. 

All vendors who have purchased an Upgraded Listing or advertisement are qualified to submit a video for consideration. At our discretion, FVC selects videos based on relevancy to the Community and quality of content. Keep in mind, we prefer short videos with broad appeal that provide insight and valuable expertise. All videos and displayed content must be in English. Reach out to us via the Contact Us form to start the conversation.

Every situation is unique, and the decision largely depends on the project’s scope and associated risks. For major system initiatives, consultants can bring independent thought and objectivity, expertise and lessons learned, valuable process tools, and insight on vendor pricing and contracts. Many can also manage detailed project activities allowing you to focus on the strategic considerations. When undertaking a critical initiative, having a trusted advisor can help mitigate risks and provide reassurance. Therefore, institutions should consider engaging a consultant based on the project’s significance.

Consultants and industry professionals love discussing this question and for good reason. Selecting a key system is usually of strategic importance to the organization. In no particular order, here’s a short list for discussion around your water cooler:

• Functionality:  Let’s face it, the system needs to do what you need it to do, and you should receive some uplift. If there are gaps, they should be manageable without major impact.     
• Ease of Use:  This also means easy to learn. Not many people operate at their best when struggling with a system. 
• Look and Feel:  Subjective, yes, but important for staff acceptance. Just don’t let this one distract you from the importance of a functionality match.
• Vendor Stability:  Do your homework with the vendor to get a good grasp of their financials, including debt financing and investors. You should understand the vendor’s financial status well enough to explain it to your CEO. 
• Partnership Opportunity: There’s nothing sweeter than a vendor who is ready and willing to help you get to where you’re going. Often this comes with a culture match too, a vendor that thinks and behaves in a way that reflects how your organization operates. 

Of course, you can’t overlook system architecture, integration capabilities/costs, development roadmaps, vendor pricing, contractual commitments, user community and client references, conversion prowess, and customer service model. Lots of interesting stuff!

Another hot topic for discussion. Here are some high-level items to get the conversation going:

• Business risks are managed, such as liability, indemnification, confidentiality/security breaches, and regulatory compliance. 
• Impact of your institution’s growth on pricing is clear and acceptable.
• Service level agreements are included and reasonable.
• Termination provisions are fair and practical.
• Important promises made during the sales cycle are covered. 
• Implementation/conversion schedule is agreed to.

Of course, you also need to ensure that you have received the best possible pricing.

Well, this is a huge question! Here’s a handful of pointers to get the ball rolling:

• Don’t try to make the new system operate just like your old system. Take the opportunity to change and improve your processes.
• Stay on schedule from day one of the project. This, alone, will significantly reduce stress!
• Involve more people than your typical leaders. You want as many subject matter experts as possible as they will become your new center of knowledge.
• Test, test, test – and then test some more. Simulate your new environment in every way practical.
• Train, train, train – and be patient. You may need to do additional follow-up training to ensure proficiency.
• Do not go-live until you are truly ready.
